I have been going to Dr. Bloem for 3 years for Prolozone knee injections, weight loss, and general health advice and services. I have found him to be a caring and considerate physician. He is not the part of the establishment that just wants to give you a lot of pills, and push you out of the office so that he can make more money. He really cares about your well-being.
He will listen, to your concerns regarding your health. He will take time with you, and he will require an extensive questionnaire, so that he can spot other problems that may be related to your problem. He will not just listen to you, he will listen to what your body is saying. He is a holistic doctor, which means he is concerned about the whole person. I did not talk to a secretary, I spoke with Dr. Bloem, and never had to way more than a day for him to respond to my call.
In one case I called him on a Saturday, I did not expect him to pick up the phone, but he picked up while he was out with his family. I am sooo impressed with Dr. Bloem. When my financial situation changed, and I became depressed, he encouraged me to have faith that things will work out, and he told me that I could call him anytime. He is now my friend. I am grateful that he is a friend. I am glad to know him. He is not in a fancy building, does not have fancy furniture, he gives you the most valuable thing- his time, and attention. If you happen to have an appointment with him, you will be well-cared for and so will all that you refer into his care. And yes, I am a religious person, and I find Dr. Bloem to be a righteous person.
