Dr. Karram is a Urogynecologist in the Cincinnati area. He practices at Good Samaritan Hospital, as well as coming to Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown once or twice a month. MRH is where he did my surgery. He was scheduled for one Friday a month when I had my surgery in 2002, and when he found out that I had recently lost my job, and needed to get the surgery done before I could start looking for a new one, he added me to his schedule, and came up earlier than normal to do my surgery first.
Every time I saw Dr. Karram, he was very matter of fact about what I needed to have done, and after the surgery, what I needed to do to help myself heal correctly.
He NEVER made me feel embarrassed, and was very thoughtful and considerate of my feelings. Just before my surgery, a nurse at the hospital asked if I had Googled Dr. Karram, and I said I had not. She said, "You should. This guy is known all over the world for the surgeries he does. He goes all over the world to teach others how to do it. He's amazing!" Needless to say, I looked him up, and was amazed at his accomplishments. He's a very confident doctor, but never once did he act like anything other than a regular guy.
I have recommended Dr. Karram to many people since my surgery, and have heard nothing but good things from them.
