Proffesionalizm to the max. Dr Chi listens to his patients with compassion. Excellent surgeon.

Dr Chi is caring, compassionate, highly-skilled, and very patient when explaining complex medical issues. He was so kind to my husband who was very worried when i was diagnosed w ovarian cancer stage 2c. My recent surgery went extremely well, and i feel very hopeful about eradicating any remnants of cancer from my body. I felt extremely well attended to by Dr Chi, his associte Dr Diaz, and the entire nursing staff of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. It's not easy becoming a "cancer patient" virtually overnight, but much of my fear was assuaged due to the calm and caring demeanor of Dr Chi and his team.

Dr. Chi is an absolutely wonderful and competent GYN/ONC surgeon and there are few like him! He performed two surgeries on me and I believe I am alive today because of him. Not only he is very experienced and diligent about his work, he is really compassionate and thinks of his patients. Unlike other physicians I have had, he takes his time to explain things to you no matter how hard to accept in terms you can understand and is very caring about his patients.

Since there are so few cases of LMS (leiomyosarcoma) and not much known about treatments, I would suggest he keep on trying to read and learn all he can to help his patients. Certainly we survivors will keep him informed of any progess also!

He ALWAYS calls you back no matter what time when others promise and never do. He remains comforting and hopefully somehow is not too hurt by the tragic losses he endures with his patients.

After surgery locally for a malignant ovarian cyst, my doctor recommended Dr Chi to me. He had interned with Dr Chi. I went to Memorial Sloan Kettering to consult with Dr Chi. As a result he did a laprascopic hysterectomy and I was pronounced cancer free. This procedure , relatively new, is less invasive than a traditional hysterectomy. He is a skilled, knowledgeable physician.

10+ for this gyn/onco/surgeon at MSKCC in NYC. He knows about LMS & ESS. HIs skills are superb. Sharp, intelligent, caring. He knows his "stuff." I trust his skills and his judgement. He is kind and respectful of your opinions. He has experience, good judgement and is friendly to your family. He is willing to talk to you and learn. My experiences have all been very good!
