I have been a patient of Dr. Quinsey's since 2005 when I went to see him at Advance Womens Health in Longwood, Florida. I was referred to him by my primary doctor, because I was having issues with being anemic and heavy periods. I tried one surgical procedure that was called Novasure where it reduced the periods and symptoms. This worked for a couple of years, unfortunately I was feeling extreem pain on my left side and my periods were no longer tolorable. I went back to see Dr. Quinsey, and was empathic to my concerns and needs. I had thought about the hysterectomy and felt this was the time to deal with this issue.
Dr. Quinsey was very informative, answered my list of questions, he was friendly, respectful, caring and very knowledgeable in how to handle my paticular problem. I had my Laproscopic Hysterectomy and was able to keep my ovaries. This was the goal to keep them as long as they were healthy. I am gratful that I had the surgery, because my uterus was growing in my muscle and the pain was unbarable.
When I went in the following week this month to see Dr. Quinsey, with my husband he was very helpful in answering our questions for a couple. He was pleasant, talkative and he just treated me and my husband well.
I would recommend this dr to any woman who is facing a hysterectomy or any other OB/GYN issues.
