Dr. Angelides has dropped her practice in Obstetrics but does specialize in Gynecology and Menopausal medicine. On both a personal and professional note, Dr. Angelides is a very special doctor. She is not only companionate, but an excellent surgeon and physician. She held my hand when she told me that I needed a total hysterectomy and explained the procedure to my husband in detail and was always available before and after my surgery with questions that I had regarding my particular surgery and what to expect afterwards. She discussed my options after surgery, never tried to influence me either way about taking HRT's and she helped me through a very difficult time in my life both physically and emotionally and I highly recommend her to anyone in South Florida. She is a rare find and takes a special interest in every patient she has. I do not have insurance because I lost my job due to my Fibromyalgia and other medical conditons and I still use her because I feel very comfortable with her and the way she practices medicine. She also takes pride in hiring staff that are as caring and professional as she is so each patient feels comfortable and relaxed when they enter her office. I found an interesting comment made on suggestions that ask how can this doctor improve herself to be a better doctor? She can't, and she could teach others how to be comforting, friendly, trustworthy, experienced, diligent and this is what makes her not only a exceptional physician but a rare find in the practice of gynecology.
