Dr. Boyd happened to be a client at a business I worked for. After years of suffering w/ endometriosos, and getting only pain meds for cramps from my current OB/GYN (despite my complaints and concerns), Dr. Boyd, in a timely conversation with me, explained new procedures that were available, and possible scenarios and outcomes, that no one had discussed with me before (including a separate second opinion from another GYN). He seemed to be able to describe the situation and connect with me in a way that not only 'hit home', but touched my own intuition as well. I had only an overnight stay in the private facility, and when I awoke the next morning, he was there waiting, to tell me the operation was successful, and the tissue was cancer-free. I also ended up having my appendix removed, because the fibroid tissue was so extensive.
I believe it is extremely important to be very informed and prepared when it comes to your health, and Dr. Boyd is very good at working with you as a partner in your own health care.
The only downside is, that, he is VERY busy delivering babies! But I suppose that's not really a 'downside' now, is it?!!
Was it helpful to you?
