I recommend this doctor because he actually listens to my concerns. The other doctors I've tried don't seem to care, or take me seriously, when I spoke to them. I've tried several doctors about my situation and they basically brushed me off, or told me it was all in my head.
He's always friendly, comforting and very experienced. His special interests are: general OB/GYN, robotic surgery, gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Maybe he could spend a little more time with his patients.
I had the LAVH surgery for large fibroids, large uterus, and spotting, or abnormal bleeding, after menopause, and the painful cramps I was experiencing.

Dr Elias is a skilled surgeon as well as a compassionate human being. I originally went to him for a second opinion about surgery recommended by another doctor. My original doctor was very experienced and qualified, and my intent was to have him do the surgery if that was the route I chose.

After my initial consultation with Dr Elias, and a few follow-up phone calls, I realized that he was the guy I wanted treating me. Not only was I confident in his technical qualifications, but he treated me as a person and not just a case of symptoms. I trusted him to make decisions that were in my best interest, physically and personally. He took the time to explain things thoroughly, answer all of my questions, and involve me in my own care.

Dr Elias evaluated my case with a fresh point of view, not limiting himself to my original diagnosis. His education and experience allowed him to offer a variety of treatments not available from all doctors, including laparoscopic surgery / laparoscopic hysterectomy.

The procedure we ultimately chose was a laparoscopic hysterectomy. He went out of his way to adjust his schedule to accommodate my needs. My surgery went better than I could have ever expected. I'll definitely be going to him for all of my gyn issues in the future, and I would recommend him to friends or family.
