Dr. Reid, M.D., F.A.C.O G., F.A.C.S. has taken the time to fully explain the process I was going through with cervical cancer and the hysterectomy that he would do. Use of pictures in a well used book were presented for my husbands and my viewing, allowing whatever time was needed to answer the many questions.
Dr. Reid did not give his suggestion or tell me what I should do concerning surgery but rather, gave me the options allowing my husband and myself to think about those options. After we made a choice, Dr. Reid then stated his opinion of the right-for-me procedure, which turned out to be a match to how we chose to proceed.
Dr. Reid personally returned phone calls of my concerns. His staff was able to assist me with whatever questions I had prior to surgery and remain helpful to any issues I have. He is very thorough while doing exams. He doesn't just 'hear' but he 'listens' to my compliants and post op/radiation problems.
Dr. Reid stays in contact with my OB/Gyn and my Radiology Oncologist via email, phone and fax. .
