Dr. Allen saved my life! She is kind and understanding, talented and skillful, knowledgeable, and a great listener. She's laid back, and is your friend, not just a doctor. After having been to several doctors, I was beginning to feel that there were none were left with a decent bed-side manner. I was suffering from painful Endometriosis with extremely large uterine fibroids. It was so important to me that I find a surgeon I could trust, especially since I had never had children and was facing a probable hysterectomy. The doctors of my past were rude, cold, matter-of-fact and always in a hurry, as they needed to get to their next patient, who was obviously higher on their list than little old me. Dr. Allen was patient and caring, intelligent and thorough. She spent the time with me I needed and answered all my questions with empathy and compassion. I made sure she was experienced and could trust her. I was easy with her. I believe she gave my life back to me, and I could not be happier with having her as my doctor. I feel safe in her care, and see her as a friend as well as my doctor. She is cheerful and sweet and all of her patients, their children and families love her madly. All doctors should be more like her.
