I am so disappointed to hear anything negative about Dr.Richey or his staff. The young lady in the front has always been very nice and concerned. I am equally disappointed to hear nonsence about his nurse. She is always nice and very compassionate. I have written on other web sites re: Dr Richey. To him I owe my life. He is thorough, kind,brilliant and NEVER is rushed in any visit I have ever had with him. He has been my doctor since 2002. My husband said if we ever move I can keep him as my GYN. Dr. We will fly back to Alaska for my appointments. I have recommended Dr. Richey to many people and will continue. He & his staff are WONDERFUL !!!!!!

I agree with the previous poster. Although I am a pretty new patient, Dr. Richey is one of the most caring and well versed doctor in his filled, on top of being very nice. He does not rush out after 5 minuites unlike ohter doctors. I wish I can say the same for his staff. I have never met such incompetent and dumb people working at a doctors office. You seem to have to hold thier hand and remind them of things they need to do. I actually thought about switching MD's because of this staff, however, I would not let their incompetence ruin a good relationship. I do hope he realizes that his patients will feel much more comfortable if he has well trained staff.

I do not regret for one moment having gone to see Dr. Mark Richey for a complicated situation involving infertility and pregnancy. He is sensitive and appears talented at performing in the operating theater.

I was not impressed with his staff. While they were competent at making mouth noises and showing concern for me, I felt that they are better versed with supermarket tabloids than with cutting edge medical journals. These "girls" (all over the age of 35) sit in the back and chat, then when it's their turn to deal with a patient, stand glumly in the exam room babysitting the patient. Does he know that with our feet up in the stir-ups, we can see their facial reactions (eyeball rolling) behind his back when we troubleshoot causes for our longstanding problems? Why did he hire RNs to work with him when he could get medical assistants at half the cost?

His staff seems to have gotten nursing jobs so they'd have good hours. Richey is great; his staff needs coffee or an energy drink.

Dr. Richey and his staff have always been very professional, comforting, experienced, trustworthy, highly educated and have a great manner with their patients. Dr. Richey has seen me through my miscarriages, infertility treatments, pregnancy and most recently a hysterectomy. I have always felt that he and his staff treated me like "family". I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to any woman seeking the care of an obstetrican/gynecologist.
