Dr. Cook was my doctor for 8 years and I hated leaving her! Even after I moved away from Gainesville I still went back once for an annual exam but it got too hard to keep driving back. She delivered my son (who is 9 now), and it was a very special circumstance because I was only 16 years old at the time. Dr. Cook was always SO reassuring and took plenty of time to walk me through every step. She always remembered me each time I came in, and she was very interested in my life and how I was doing. Since moving, I have yet to find a new doctor - Dr. Cook has set the bar high! The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes it's very hard to get an appointment, but that's just because she is so popular. :-)

I like female Gynecologists because I find them more empathetic. This doctor is wonderful, gentle, and caring. She actually LISTENS to what you say. As a bonus she knows about and will prescribe compound hormones.
