Dr. Gagne is THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! I cannot praise him enough! He did my gastric bypass surgery in Jan 2008 and has been the BEST doctor I have ever had, and I have had many. He is filled with compassion for his patients and is the ONLY dr I have ever had that returns your calls personally and in less than a half hour! I know he has hundreds if not thousands of patients, but you never lose the feeling of one on one personal attention. Even if you call him on a weekend, he is there for you. I really don't have enough good words for him, I tell everyone that is considering gastric bypass to give him a call. He is associated with West Penn Hospital and though I live an hour and a half away, anytime I need hospitalization, I turn to them because I know that while I am there, I will be visited by him or a member of his team and they will work until they find the problem.
