Dr Maisel is one of the best pediatric speciality drs there is in Indiana hands down. Her wealth of knowledge far surpasses many other drs I have met. After having preemie twin boys and dealing with that stress to find out that my sons both had GERD and feeding/swallowing issues was a terrible blow to me.There are days still 2 1/2 years later that I ask why me. This wonderful dr take the time to draw pictures and explain what she finds to be wrong and give you options. Dr Maisel blew me away when she offered me the chance to be present at the 2 different procedures my son Ben had. While I got upset during the blood draw cause it was very hard to find a vein in his little arm that is where my fear and intimidation stopped. She even printed out a set of photos for me and went over them so that I was able to share with my husband later that day. Be prepared to wait for an appointment since she is a pediatric specialist- I have found that almost all of them have a decent wait time involved but she is WELL worth your time. If you are offered a spot with one of the NP in the office take it- they are excellent and work closely with the dr.
