Dr. Friele (OB/GYN) performed my LAVH at Swedish Hospital in Seattle December of 2007. Prior to surgery she made sure I was very well prepared, and fully understood the procedure. Her manner is very caring and sympathetic while at the same time forthright and direct, which I truly appreciated. Even though my uterus was enlarged beyond what was expected, she took the extra time to complete the procedure vaginally, and my 2 scars are each less than 1/2" long. She has a lot of experience, and I'm sure that is one of the reasons I had a very quick and uncomplicated recovery. She had also previously removed fibroids for me. I can't recommend her highly enough.
