I had a Da Vinci assisted laproscopic removal of an ovary w endometriosis. Dr Mooney-Smith took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions, she made sure I understood everything that was going to be done with my surgery and what to expect after. In the medical field today to find a dr this caring is truly finding a gem.

I have been her patient for 25 years! She is just as compassionate today as she was when I walked into her office at the age of 25 - nervous and pregnant with my first child. When I had complications and was hospitalized during pregnancy, she sat at my bedside, helping us to make decisions and reassuring me while we waited and hoped for the medication to stop premature labor, She held my hand and encouraged me. She became not only my doctor, but also my friend. I moved to the southern part of Johnson County recently and changed all of my physicians - except for her! I would travel many miles to remain her patient. When I was diagnosed with cancer last year (unrelated to gynecology) I was touched and surprised that she took the time to send personal cards letting me know that she was thinking of me and praying for me. My children are now grown and I can only hope that she is still practicing when my daughters finally decide to have their own children.

Dr. Mooney Smith is so much more wonderful than I could ever explain! I have been with her for over 6 years now, as she delivered my first two children, and we are now on our way to delivering baby number 3! She is, by far, the most loving, compassionate, gentle, comforting, and genuinely sincere doctor I have ever been involved with, EVER! I would be devastated if I couldn't see her! I don't think there is anything she can do to better herself as a doctor (unless it was possible to make another one of her, as she is a busy girl!). If you need an OB/GYN, I can't recommend her enough!

I have been seeing Dr. Mooney-Smith for a couple of years now and she is wondeful.Soft voice, and makes you feel comfortable in any situation. Anytime you mention her name to anyone that knows her including other Dr.'s they always say "Isnt she a sweety'. If you live in Kansas City or around KC look her up.

I was sent to Dr. Mooney-Smith for a gynecological visit, that resulted in me needing to have a full hysterectomy.

In Dr. Mooney- Smith, I found a doctor who was attentive and caring. She is very personable and extremely likeable. When I first met her, she made me feel so comfortable, that I felt like I'd known her all my life.

Post-surgery, I was dealing with a lot of pain and insomnia. She made sure that we did all we could to help alleviate these problems.

I would very highly recommend her to any woman needing any type of ob-gyn services.
