Dr. Senofsky was my third opinion and the one I chose. I live 3.5 hours away from his office but to me, it was worth the time and energy to have him perform my surgery and follow up care. I get many compliments on the results of my surgery and reconstruction.

I was diagnosed with DCIS (high grade) in April of 2011. When I met with Dr. Senofsky, he reassured me that this was totally curable. He recommended a mastectomy and immediate reconstruction via a tissue expander to assure proper margins. He is a stickler for this, and my research confirms how important this is for the future. The surgery went well, the plastic surgery was done, and I am so grateful to have found such a knowledgeable and skillful surgeon. He recently performed a prophylactic mastectomy on my healthy breast based on my family history. It is healing nicely and I can put this matter to rest. This doctor really knows his stuff!!!! Because Dr. Senofsky only deals with breast oncology/surgery, he is truly the expert in the field.

When I first met Dr Senofsky, he made me feel like I was in the right place and had the best doctor. He told me exactly what needed to be done, we made the appointments and I had surgery. I had a lumpectomy with a second surgery to review the margins. I expected to be real sore and uncomfortable but I was not. I have healed very fast and neatly. My breast is the same, you can't even tell. Also, I never asked for a second opinion, after I talked to Dr Senofsky, I did not feel like I needed one. Dr Senofsky is the best, no doubt.

Dr. Senofsky lets you feel like your surgery will be success and he explains what he will do... step by step. He also does what he promises to do. I was diagnosed with left breast cancer in November 2010. On December 8, Dr. Senofsky performed a lumpectomy and Sentinel Node dissection. Since I have very small breasts, I was terrified not only with the cancer diagnosis, but what my breast would look like after the tumor was removed. And I knew that Dr. Senofsky is a firm believer in .5cm margins (good news for lowering recurrence rate, maybe bad news for what my breast would look like). To my very pleasant surprise, my breast looks perfectly normal!! And my margins were clear (not all surgeons achieve this I have found out from others)... and my lymph nodes were clear (the gods were smiling on me). My healing has gone quickly.. another nice surprise (as I am no spring chicken as they say). My journey is not over but I am very grateful for Dr. Senofsky's "superb artistry" and excellent surgical skill. Everyone I have spoken to thinks so highly of him. Plus I have spoken to a large number of women - family, friends - whose surgeries were nothing compared to mine. It seems many surgeries leave scars, dents, lumpy look, and the recurrence rate is high and so on. PS This was my second surgery with Dr. Senofsky as I had a surgical biopsy on the other breast in 2003. He was also wonderful back then, too.

I was diagnosed in March with Melanoma cancer and referred to Dr. Senofsky for surgery to remove the cancer and lymph nodes that were involved. I cannot express the anxiety and uncertainty that I felt. No one had any clear or positive words. That is until I met Dr. Senofsky. The most frightening words you may ever hear is that you have cancer. Dr. Senofsky met with me and was and remains the most positive part of my treatment to date. He has operated twice now to remove cancer from my right underarm and I trust his experience and skills beyond any other doctor around. He has on both occasions explained what was going to happen and more so what could be expected afterward. While all of the others involved seem reserved to discuss the process of cancer, he wasn't. Most of all, he has removed the cancer just as he said he would and I owe still being alive today to his skills. In my opinion he is one of the best surgeons anywhere. Even if you are far away and you are diagnosed with cancer, at the very least contact his office.

Dr. Senofsky removed several breast lumps and took special care not to puncture my breast implants which none of the other surgeons I visited prior cared about,in fact, the others told me this would happen and I would have to get new one replaced (at my expense and another surgery). Dr. Senofsky cared about the cosmetic result of my surgery more than any other doctor I visited prior. He made a point to suture my surgery sites in a way that would leave almost no scar...amazing surgical skills and bedside manner. He knew that I would care about what I looked like when I looked at myself in the mirror..something other surgeons do not take into consideration. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Senofsky has performed several biopsies and lumpectomies on me and his caring way with his patients makes the whole ordeal of dealing with cancer bearable. He takes the patient through all the steps and makes them feel comfortable and relieves the tension. He is a GREAT surgeon and competent is ensuring that his surgery is going to remove the cancer. He is #1 in my book.
