Dr Benson has been my gynecologist for approximately 10 ten years. She has monitored a uterine fibroid for the past four years. She is compassionate and sincere. When I was ready to do something about my discomfort related to the fibroid, she was through with the options and left the decision up to me. Dr Benson performed my hysterectomy on Dec. 6. 2010. The surgery was performed vaginally w/ laparoscopic assistance. I can not give her enough credit for my recovery. I have had absolutely no pain or complications. My only post surgery side effects since spending one night in the hospital has been tiredness, bloating, some mood swings and a little gas discomfort. I am very grateful for how gentle she was during surgery to allow me to feel so well afterwards.
