Dr Ceana Nezhat performed my hysterectomy by laparoscopy on October 28, 2012. The surgery went well. I found Dr. Nezhat to be very particular about his work and demanded precision from his staff and in the hospital. As the patient, I found this comforting. He has his own operating room at Northside Hospital, manages an efficient team of nurses and has his own detailed discharge papers on diet and after care. His nurse called me everyday until I was up on my feet and my systems were all working. He is not inexpensive but his vast experience, knowledge and perfectionism make him worth it.

Dr. Nezhat is a highly skilled surgeon and his bedside manner with his patience is impeccable! I have been to numerous doctors unfortunately and he restored my faith in the quality of care which is possible by a health care provider when they have the passion and desire to do so.. I would recommend any friends or family members to go and be cared for under this doctor because it does not get any better regarding experience, skills, and concern for the welfare of his patience by himself as well as his staff.. Way to GO Dr. Nezhat!

I highly, highly recommend Dr. Ceana Nezhat. He is the most thorough, diligent, professional, and knowledgeable doctor that I have ever had. I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and I knew after my initial consult with Dr. Nezhat that I didn't want anyone else to perform my surgery. He is at the top of his field, and his staff is top-notch as well. Phone calls are returned promptly, questions answered, etc., all in a very compassionate way. Dr. Nezhat's experience is extensive and I truly felt I was in good hands.

After dealing with endometriosis and several treatment options, my gyn recommended a hysterectomy. He told me that an incision would be necessary due to the endo.

Fortunately, Dr. Nezhat utililizes advanced laproscopic procedures which allowed for my extensive surgery (5 hours) to be completed without the large incision.

Dr. Nezhat and his staff followed my recovery closely with several personal calls from him and his nurse.

He is unusual in that he treats the entire system and considers all symptoms in diagnosing his patients. His goal is for his patients to have the highest quality of life possible.
