Dr John Murphy is my GYN and recently performed my hysterectomy. He did not chose this procedure lightly. We worked together for a long time to attempt other methods of relief. He encouraged my husband to be involved and walked us both through the process answering every question on our list. He gave detailed instructions on what was involved in a laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy and of course any complications that could occur. He was always caring and professional throughout the entire process. He made sure I was comfortable and pain free without being nauseated and he checked in on me following my surgery. I highly recommend Dr Murphy as an OB/GYN. You will not be disappointed in him and his staff. He has an incredible reputation and is very experienced in his field.

Dr. Murphy is the most compassionate, caring, comforting doctor I have ever seen. During my pregnancy, I became a single parent and he was so kind and helpful throughout my pregnancy, labor, delivery and after-care. He is also trained in psychiatry and I think that is one of the reasons he is so wonderful with women. If anyone brings up Dr. Murphy's name in a roomful of women, everyone raves. He has a huge following in Bend!!

Dr. Murphy is one of the kindest, caring doctor's I have ever known. He performed my hysterectomy and everything went perfect. Dr. Murphy remembers things about your family, hobbies, etc. and always asks about them. Dr. Murphy is highly experienced in his field and his personality is wonderful. One of the best doctors in town to go to.
