My regular OGBYN was unable to perform my hysterectomy so Dr. Wiseman who is a colleague of my doctor performed my surgery. I was very unsure at the beginning because I had not met him and I it takes me a while to become comfortable with a new doctor. My first pre-op meeting with him went very well. He put me at ease immediately. He was very patient with ALL my questions and I had plenty. I probably over researched online but he didn't make me feel like I was questioning him or that my questions were unnecessary.
The morning of my surgery, he came to see me and again put be at ease. My surgery went well and when we came in to see me after I was in my room, we went into detail about my surgery which made me feel even more at ease.
I have had my first post-op meeting with him. I am very happy that he was my doctor for this surgery. I was very nervous about the whole situation but he made it easy for me to deal with and really made me feel that I was in very good hands. I would recommend Dr. Wiseman for any woman who needs a OBGYN.
