I would like to recomend Dr Amsterdam. I have seen alot of obgyn's and was never very impressed they were either rude, or just dismissed me. Until the day my family practictionar recommended her obgyn. From the moment I met her I knew I liked her she is very personable and professional. She listened to all my concerns and took everything very seriously. She talked in laymans terms to me and my husband. She preformed tests and advised me of all my options. I decided to have a hysterectomy and she went over all the surgery options and let me choose. I was having issues with paperwork for my job and anything and everything I needed was handled in amazing time. The day of the surgery she called my family every hour to give updates. She was the first voice I heard when I awoke. She explained everything to me and my family and stated she would call the next day to make sure I was ok. I thought her office would call but she called personally. I have never had such a great experience with a Doctor she is just wonderful. The only improvement I can think of would be one of the nurses is a little rude. Other than that I would recommend Lisa Amsterdam to everyone she is outstanding.
