I met Dr. Brown at Crown Mountain Womens Health in Dahlonega GA when I was pregnant with my second child. I had gestational diabetes. Well it turns out that Dr. Brown is THE gestational diabetes guru! He mentored me and provided me with the knowledge and information to help make better decisions when it comes to nutrition, not only for the sake of the baby, but also to ensure that I would continue to be a healthy person later on in life. During my entire pregnancy I only put on 5lbs (and I am a girl who loves to eat) and we managed to control my blood sugars purely through diet. I did not have to use insulin at all! Four months post partum I am still six sizes smaller than I was before! I sincerely recommend him as he is very knowledgeable as well as he is a sweet and endearing man and he has helped me so much with a very important issue in my life.
