I am not a patient myself but my mother has been a patient of Dr. Malik's for many years. She has been seeing Dr. Malik for pain management for a severe back condition . Dr. Malik is a highly trained physician who completed a fellowship at Harvard and is continuing his education and training in all the latest medical procedures, techniques and medications. He is a very friendly, compassionate and caring physician. He takes all the time you need to talk and discuss concerns and answer questions. He explains very thoroughly any procedure that he recommends and any medication that he prescribes. Dr. Malik is a "rare gem" in medicine today.

I first saw Dr. Malik for lower back pain. He determined that I had a herniated disc and also suspected that I had a herniated cervical disc. While it would have been very easy for him to recommend surgery and remove the discs, he came up with a specialized treatment plan that suited my lifestyle and helped me relieve my lower back pain without surgery or pain medication. He also quickly put me in direct contact with an accomplished neurosurgeon, who is devising a plan for the cervical disc problem. Dr. Malik is very personable, understanding, highly professional, and dedicated to his patients.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Malik's for quite a while now and he has helped her tremendously with her chronic pain issues. Not only has he helped her physically, but he has helped her emotionally as well when she has been feeling discouraged or depressed. Dr. Malik is a very caring and compassionate doctor who treats the whole person and not just the symptoms. He is kind, comforting, friendly and caring and he listens to what his patients have to say. He also takes his time with people and that is particularly important to older folks. He really wants to relieve pain and make people better so that they can enjoy their lives.
