When my 92-year-old father fell and badly injured his one good eye, his own opthomologist was too busy that day to see him on an emergency basis. Dr. Plous was recommended by Brandon (Florida) Regional Hospital Emergency Room. Dr. Plous saw him immediately, admitted him to the hospital in Winter Haven, FL and performed emergency surgery that evening. He saved my father's sight. Dr. Plous saw my father regularly for months, until his eye was completely healed. He was a strong advocate for him with the assisted living facility where Dad was living. He was at all times professional but concerned and caring. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an opthomologist in the Tampa area.
