Dr. Rosenfield performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy on me at his surgicenter in May 2010. My experience was very satisfactory. I recommend him highly, due to his expertise in laparoscopy (he's teaching others throughout the US and does up to 10 a week in his own operating room with the same staff and instruments that he works with every week,) his trustworthiness (everything he said would occur, did occur) and his attention to customer service (i.e. warm neck pillow offered before surgery, he sent flowers to my home the next day.) I felt well cared for, without the "hysteria" that can accompany major surgery. And I loved the fact that I could go home the same day to my own bedroom, with its familiar level of quiet, and not face a restless night's sleep in a hospital. Isn't it sad that our expectations of medical care are so low that, when he called me back hiimself, the same day, to answer a question I had and gave me his email address in case I had more questions, I was shocked?
