She helped pioneer the DaVinici procedure in Tacoma. I never knew I would ever feel "good" again and thanks to Dr. Kovanda and her knowledge, experience, abilities and fortitude, I have been the recipient of a total hysterectomy and for the first time in at least 10 years I believe I have the right to feel happy and look forward to a life and not a sentence. I had my hysterectomy on December 9, 2009 and have not experienced pain or hormonal dysfunction. I can't remember the last time I felt optimistic about my future. Thank you Dr. Kovanda.
