I started seeing Dr. Allen with my 2nd pregnancy and did not stop until my insurance changed only a month away from giving birth to my 3rd child.
Through the years, Dr. Allen has helped me with birth control, pregnancy, uterine issues including surgery, hormone fluctuations, and my high-risk pregnancy with gestational diabetes. Through it all, he always went above and beyond with both his standard of care and his compassion.
I always felt that he had all the time in the world to talk to me, answer my questions, find out more about whatever was wrong. He took an active interest in my health and my lifestyle. I never felt pressured to do what he wanted, rather I felt he expounded on all my options and actively answered any questions that might help ME make a choice (birth control, surgery, medication, you name it).
I can't say enough terrific things about Dr. Allen, and I literally cried when I couldn't see him anymore. I miss the fact that he recognized me and knew my case without needing to keep looking at his chart. I miss his compassion for my pain, his personal nature, and his passion to keep me healthy above all else. Now I'm waiting for my insurance to change again so I can go back.
Dr. Allen is the BEST!
