Dr. Jayne was wonderful to work with the past year as I was going through medical issues. I had a LSH on 12/3/13. She has been willing to talk about my concerns and any worries that I had. She was also willing to answer any questions that my mother had as well. She clearly told me what was going to happen in surgery and went through everything with me after.

Dr Shireen Jayne in West Bend and Hartford WI performed my hysterectomy over 2 years ago. We discussed the surgery due to the potential for more cysts from endometriosis. We exhausted all other options before pursuing surgery, in spite of my frustration from experiencing those other options. She has a very caring, kind bedside manner. She was able to remain calm when I wasn't due to my frustration. She never made me feel like I asked a dumb question, even though I'm sure I did. She really made sure this was what I wanted and NEVER tried to push me into surgery. She had complete faith that the surgery would be a success - never once did I see her confidence waver. The morning of the surgery, we discussed what she was going to take and she gave me the opportunity to choose, instead of telling me. I felt like I was a stakeholder, and not just a nameless, faceless patient. I truly believe her relaxed, caring, and confident attitude made me relaxed and gave me confidence. I have recommended her to many friends and coworkers who have difficult gyn issues. And it's not just her - her nurses are awesome, too. They had just as much patience with me and were just as caring. It's been 2 years since the hyster and they flew by! I no longer experience menstrual trauma every month thanks to the full hyster. ANY OB/GYN could have done the surgery - but I am thankful Dr Jayne was my doctor + surgeon. Now that I have lost my insurance - I wonder - would I get the same care from her without having insurance? I would like to think so. I cannot believe no one else has nominated her for this site for all that she has done for women in Wisconsin and Illinois.
