My Gyn Oncologist is super. He has cured me of cancer by removing it with a Laparoscopic hysterectomy, even though I had a prior gynecologist recommending that it could only be removed by an abdominal operation that would have prolonged my recovery to 6 weeks instead of the one short week that I required. He has also helped my sister and close friend with their vaginal relaxation(with loss of urine when they coughed or exercised), as well as their pelvic pain due to endometriosis and painful fibroid tumors. Both had laparoscopic hysterectomies with their vaginal support improved with mesh to better strengthen their ligaments holding the bladder and vagina, while rendering them pain free. I don't know how he does it, when all of the other gyns have to open you up. I hope everyone knows you don't always have to be opened up to accomplish what he can do through tiny little incisions and minimal pain. My sister can now enjoy sex and exercise without peeing all over herself. Its great to be able to take advantage of the latest technology and to know its all available in OKC. Although there are several ways to get the uterus out, its nice to know I had options, and its nice to have someone so honest and straightforward with the answers to my questions. This is great bedside manners. BTW his staff was truly helpful with my ordeal and made my surgery and recovery a breeze.
Was it helpful to you?
