I first met Dr. Armstrong on my first gyn visit to UNC Chapel Hill, OB/Gyn clinic. I was nervous about having to find a new gyn. I had my previous gyn for nearly 11 years.
To make this long story shorter, Dr. A, "read my mind"! Actually, he anticipated what I was going to ask him. He immediately agreed to the procedure I had researched, and wanted to try. I had heavy uterine bleeding, and severe cramps.
The Novasure procedure went smoothly, but in the end, it failed. At 51, and with 10 pregnancies and 7 births under my belt, I was ready to "give in" and have a hysterectomy.
Dr. Armstrong put my fears to rest, and this procedure went as smoothly as did the first!
I am 2 weeks post op, from a vaginal hysterectomy, and feeling fantastic!
I would highly recommend Dr. A to any woman who needs a gentle, soft spoken, caring doctor to guide them through any female procedure!
