Dr. Kim has studied under the chief of ob-gyn (and ob-gyn onc.) at UCDAVIS. She not only is a brilliant doctor, she also has the most down to earth caring way about her. Dr. Kim takes the time to sit down and "listen" to your history and make the best medical decisions for you. I had gone to another gyn. in the area and told her my health history only to be given the worst possible care compared to Dr. Kim. Had Dr. Kim not be as thorough and involved as she is I would have been in medical trouble. As for her bedside manner let me tell you a little story- Dr. Kim entered me as an in- patient at the hospital for a medical procedure. I arrived early and was admitted and had a few hours before my actual procedure. As the nurses were just finishing up with my IV Dr. Kim (my angel) showed up at the foot of my bed only to exclaim "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" I looked at the nurses, my eyes filled with tears wondering what in the world they were doing to make Dr. Kim ask that question with that concerned voice- Dr. Kim motioned around her eyes and said "she is all moist around this area!" lol- both nurses along with my husband said, "SHE IS SCARED OF NEEDLES!" Bless Dr. Kim for her concern, she thought they were hurting me. After Dr. Kim walked away the 2 nurses said that they see many surgeons everyday and NEVER have they seen a DR. that cared enough to notice something like that with one of their patients. I think that speaks very loudly about how Dr.Kim views her patients like PEOPLE that she truly cares about.
In my opinion, this Dr. is the absolute best in the Sacramento area.
