I went to the E/R last year with severe lower abdominal pain. At the time I had no insurance and went to the E/R only because I thought it may be my appendix. What I had were massive fibroids that had been there for approx. 10 years that I didn't know I had (thought I was just getting fatter). Once I received insurance, on my primary care physician's recommendation, I went to see Dr. Sargent.
Dr. Sargent is an MD as well as an MBA and FACOG. He is a West Point graduate and tells it like it is. If you want a doctor to sugar coat everything, he is not the doctor for you, but if you want a doctor to recommend the best course of action for his patient while still maintaining a pleasant bedside manner, I highly recommend him. He gave me options and recommendations, then allowed me to educate myself before coming to a decision on what path my care should take.
On a side note, his staff is very friendly and helpful. I am able to get an appointment to suit my schedule and when I call, I have no difficulty in speaking with anyone( unlike some offices where you will remain n hold for 15 minutes just waiting to talk to a human). The office is very clean and the exam rooms are pleasant.
Was it helpful to you?
