Dr. Rogers (OB/GYN) was recommended to me from Evergreen Women's Health Center in Kirkland Wa.( I recommend this clinic also)! I had a large Uterus with fibroids and excessive bleeding during my cycle. He was great, very informative, listened to me and gave me options prior to surgery. He has the sweetest, calming bedside manner. Tried Lupron for 3 months to shrink my Uterus...it was a bust, only shrank it a little and made me Cranky! So on to surgery.He came prior to surgery and saw me the morning after surgery in the hospital..I was sore the first week, percocet was my friend! He told me to take it easy, use stool softeners to make everything work real easy while healing. 26 days out feel great and anxious to get going with my life again. That is the reason, I am returning to this site is to post my success, help someone else and remind myself, I need to take it easy for awhile longer no matter how good I am feeling. Hope this helps my sisters in the future! Remember to take care of yourself no one else will!

HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rogers! When I learned that I would need to have a hysterectomy due to large fibroids I began to research all the procedures available. It did not take me long to come to the conclusion that the daVinci Hysterectomy was the way to go. Less pain, fewer complications, less scaring, shorter stay in the hospital and a faster return to normal daily activites...just to mention a few of the benefits.

The problem I encountered was that I live in Bellingham, Wa and the procedure was not available ~ that is how I discovered Dr. Rogers. After extensive research I decided that I would go against my comfort zone (of only seeing a female Dr.) and seek out the best possible Dr. closest to Bellingham area that specialized in this procedure. I discovered that Dr. Rogers was not only very experienced with the daVinci Hysterectomy but was also very passionate about his practice and went out of his way to make his patients feel extremely comfortable.

I personally appreciated all the time Dr. Rogers took to answer my many questions both before and after my surgery. My surgery went great (March 2011) and I now feel fantastic. Many thanks to Dr. Rogers and his caring staff! I have decided that it is definitely worth driving to Everett to become a permanent patient.

Given my non-surgical experience Dr. Roger's explained every details of the pro's and possible con's (haven't found many) that came with Divenchy surgery. I am on day 2 post-op and everything was exactly as he said it would be. If a hystectomy is something that you are considering I could not reccommend Dr. Roger's enough. Cheerful and very considerate.
