Doctor was actually the second surgeon for my TLH. He performs the surgery with my doctor. Let first state that he contacted me so that we could meet before the surgery. Thumbs up. He could have performed the surgery without ever having met me. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I believe that he did everything possible to ensure that I had a safe surgery, and prescribed the best medication to ensure no infection and also to remain pain free. In fact, my mother lost my prescriptions somewhere between the hospital and pharmacy. In between procedures, he called in new scripts. He also followed up with me via telephone to make sure my recovery was going well. I encourage anyone who requires a hysterectomy surgery to consult with this Doc to see if his procedures will allow for a faster, less painful recovery. He is friendly, experienced, and comforting. I felt totally secure leaving the hospital the same day. He did not force me to leave, but after speaking with him, I knew that all would be well.
Actually, the practice itself is great place to be. I left my previous practice because I did not feel that the employees were as interested in my well being as the doctor. Would not have felt comfortable allowing them to perform this major surgery.
