Dr. Mary Schultz is a very compassionate and knowledgeable OB/GYN specialist. I came to her with unknown issues regarding my period and emotions that were worsening despite attempts to correct by other measures. She immediately new what was happening and diagnosed me with PMDD which I had never heard of before, but certainly how I would describe my emotions. I really was scared that I wasn't going to get a handle on my emotions prior to learning about the PMDD and treatment options. She started checking me out physically and with my history started various tests in which it was found that there were many other things happening physically that I wasn't aware of with my uterus and ovaries. As a result, I opted for a total hysterectomy with ovaries removed and I have never felt better. Pathology reports post showed I had hyperplasia with atypia as well as other issues with my ovaries etc. If I had not went to see her, I think I would still be in the emotional roller coaster and downward spiral spin I was living. She literally has helped me to get my life back. My sister passed away from uterien cancer and she was very urgent in checking everything out methodically and appropriately. She left no stone unturned, so to speak. I have had very good results from my surgery which was able to be done vaginally and I also had a TOT placed in (mesh) to help with bladder positioning and now I don't have any stress incontinence either. She's an excellent clinician, surgeon, and compassionate individual that truly cares about her patients and she makes sure they understand all that is happening. I highly recommend her to anyone needing help in this specialty area.
