2 wks post op from DaVinci partial hyst leaving both ovaries and cervix, rectocele repair, and bladder sling.
I am delighted with the results thus far, minimal pain, scarring is almost non-existent, no more bleeding, just a light discharge.
I feel wonderful, comparatively speaking, tired but so much better than just before the surgery.
Dr. Neyman is warm, generous with her time, and a true professional. Confident, knowledgeable, and friendly to boot. She listened to my concerns, came up with a plan, did a thorough pre-op evaluation with testing for incontinence, prolapse, and various other "fixable" issues that were contributing to my discomfort.
My hospital stay was brief, out patient with 23 hour observation. To say that this has already changed my life is even starting to feel like an understatement.
Dr. Neyman is focusing more on this type of gynecology and not as heavily on her very busy OB practice, and in my opinion, changing the way women experience their lives in an even more dynamic way. Just the everyday things we take for granted, improved, fixed, problems solved.
So I guess you may be able to tell I pretty much think she placed the moon in the sky at this point. But if you are in anyway inconvenienced by your health as it relates to even slight incontinence, what you might consider constipation but could have other complications that are treatable. stress incontinence or heavy bleeding, horrible periods that last forever, or something else even more serious. Ask about DaVinci and if you are in Austin, go see Sherry Neyman at Rennaissance Women's Group.
Sincerely,
Michelle M. Wilhelm
