I recently had my hysterectomy performed by Dr. Machon, after coming highly recommended by another doctor in his practice for being one of the best surgeons using the DaVinci method. Dr. Machon and Patrice (his scheduling, and "right-hand person") could not have been kinder and more understanding. Both answered any and all questions or concerns. My surgery was not done in the hospital of my preference due to the scheduling and it wasn't until Dr. Machon and his operating team came to talk to me and my daughter in pre-op that I knew I was in good hands. He works with a wonderful team, all with the best bedside manners and professionalism.

He is personable and is considered the best in Connecticut for the Da Vinci method. I was referred by my Dr to him because he said he is the best of the best in this surgery and trusts all his patients to him for this procedure. After meeting him and talking I was confident and felt good I was in the right hands. I also feel more confidence in a Dr who recognizes you and speaks to you when he sees you in the grocery store.

Dr. Tim Machon was recommended to me four years ago when I moved to MA.
Last year, Dr. Machon's office was the one to advise me that my breast lumpectomy came back negative for cancer. I never heard it from the surgeon himself!
Last year he also performed a TVT on me without any complications.
But this year, 2011, was the BIG YEAR. He just performed a Da Vinci total Hysterectomy on me at Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.
I totally trust this doctor and did not need a second opinion to go ahead with my total hysterectomy. He always has my best insterest in mind.
Dr. Machon is comforting, experienced, diligent, trustworthy and most of all, friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Tim Machon.
