I was referred to Dr. Bohme by my primary doctor because I had been experiencing very heavy bleeding and prolonged menstruations which were due to fibroids in my uterus. When Dr. Bohme first introduced herself to me I immediately felt at ease. She is extremely professional, compassionate and will educate you thoroughly on what exactly is going on inside of your body and why. You will not leave her office without the necessary education, tests, & consultation to make informed decisions regarding your healthcare. Dr. Bohme was patient and after reviewing all of my test results and examining me she reviewed possible options to deal with my particular issues. I opted for a hysterectomy, which she performed on 2/8/2011. Dr. Bohme thorougly explained my particular procedure to me and also possible "what if" scenarios so that I was completely knowledgeable and aware in case she might have to deviate from the TLH procedure during surgery, I would not awake with any surprises because she made sure I knew what she was going to do. I went into my surgery calm, educated, assured that I was in the best possible care and certain my life would be changed for the better after my procedure. Dr. Bohme and her wonderful staff are truly dedicated to patient care, they listen and not only does her staff return your call within timeframe they tell you they will but Dr. Bohme seems to truly prefer to speak with her patients herself, because there have been times she has called me back before her staff could. Dr. Bohme as busy as she is, is NOT one of those dr.s where you rarely speak to them personally. I know that if their is a test result or question I might have that she wants to make sure I completely understand the answer to, I'm going to get a call from Dr. Bohme herself. I love them all. I thank Dr. Bohme for everything she has done for me, each day I'm gaining more and more strength and I am absolutely certain that in Dr. Bohme's care I am well attended because she truly cares. I thank Dr. Amy Neal (who I will always be greatful to) for referring me to Dr. Bohme. I feel blessed to have these wonderful ppl. as my healthcare providers. Dr. Bohme & her staff are the best in my book.
