Dr. Richards is a OB/GYN and performed my surgery using the robotic assist Da Vinci to do a outstanding abdominal/pelvic exploratory surgery in which he successfully removed my left ovary and fallopian tube as well as removal of many hemorrhagic cysts and floating cysts, along with removal of much scar tissue and adhesions throughout. He is compassionate, patient, highly experienced, friendly, and trustworthy and will take the time to explain options, procedures, questions, and much more. He is a good listener and takes your concerns and well-being very seriously and will not simply rush you. He is very aware that his types of surgeries are very emotional and he takes the time to reassure and comfort you with both his knowledge and genuine compassionate care for his patients. You are seen in a timely manner and he makes you feel that you are his only patient! He welcomes family and friend's concerns and he does not push you into going the radical way; he will educate you to making the decision to either go the route of the conservative approach or the aggressive approach in your surgery choice. He allows you to make a choice, and you feel good about it. His entire surgical team and staff members are friendly, compassionate, and professional; and up to date in the world of medical procedures and professionalism! I highly recommend him! His pre-op care is great, and his post-op care is too! He also follows thru with your other doctors and their recommendations regarding the approach and type of surgery he will be performing, which makes the entire process much more reassuring and successful!
