Dr. Tami Michele is an OB/GYN practicing in Fremont, MI. When she performed my full hysterectomy in 2008, she was practicing in Olathe, Kansas and had recently completed her training; however she has since returned to her hometown in Michigan. Although she had recently completed her training, she was probably 40 years old. After her children were in school, she decided later in life to go to Med School. How many people go back to school at a later age with children to care for, and Med School at that? I liked the fact that she was not a young hot shot with something to prove, yet she was up to speed on the newest techniques. She was very thorough with her consults and explained all of my options. Upon awakening from my surgery, she promptly came in and placed a hormone patch on my belly when she did her rounds so I would not have to deal with menopause symptoms during my recovery. I have been horrified reading about many ladies who had doctors that made them wait months for hormone replacement after their full hysterectomies, making them deal with slower healing, mood swings, hot flashes.... Every time a nurse came in to check my vitals, she asked to see my incision because they were all talking about how impressive Dr Michele's surgery went and her technique. It became quite funny. I felt so lucky to have found her. I had a very speedy recovery and would highly recommend her to anyone
