After being with the same OBGYN for 20 years, I had to change. Dr. Tassone was recommended to me through another support group. I thought it would take awhile to get in with him, but nope, I was able to get in within a week. All staff, the nurse, including him, were awesome. My first visit with him I was there close to an hour. I didn't feel rushed at all. I had alot of symptoms for years even prior to receiving essure. But, Dr. Tassone is an advocate that essure isn't great, and can cause alot of problems. He said most of my issues could be related, but, really he suggested a hysterectomy. He's done many of these and is doing alot more. My surgery came, and I'm doing really great. He is concerned about women and will do what he needs to do to make women feel great. He listens to you and doesn't use the excuse "you're just getting older". He really understands when you say you have a problem, he believes you and will find out what is causing the problem.
Dr. Tassone is also easy to get ahold of if you need to. He has a facebook page and you can write him and ask him general questions of course. I am happy that I switched Dr's and have found one who cares about me!

Dr. Tassone was the first doctor I found that helped me with my adverse reaction to the Essure device. He was extremely thorough, I didn't feel rushed at all, and I left all of my appointments feeling completely satisfied.
He gave me options and I picked the best one for me, which was a DaVinci LAVH. After surgery he was attentive and listened well!
I highly recommend Dr. Shawn Tassone! He was a breath of fresh air in an already complicated situation!
