Rheumatology is perhaps the toughest to find really caring compassionate doctors. When all standard treatments failed before seeing him and we tried a biologic and my over reactive immune system decided to react badly to it ..he apologized...the first to do so but with research I found another option which is slowly starting to work and he was open to trying it... That tells me he is committed to fighting AI 's and finding a way for his patients to live a more fruitful comfortable life...He is in a medical system that is affliated with Mayo Clinic so he can confer with the rheumy I saw there as well as other researchers in the illness I have..
