He has been my OB GYN since 1996. Dr Imbody is kind and patient. He listens to my concerns and always makes sure that all my questions are answered. He keeps up to date with new research. Dr Imbody also works with those seeking or incorporating alternative therapies into their healthcare. Dr Imbody delivered 2 of my children (first one was born in another state). My daughter was delivered via c-section as she was transverse. My third was a vbac delivered completely naturally in a birthing center that is part of the hospital. He let me walk until I was ready to push, then I squatted by the bed until my sons heartrate began to drop. He asked me to get on the bed and let him check-the cord was wrapped around his neck and was getting snug. I finished pushing on the bed and he was able to help deliver him safely. A year after, I had a tubal ligation. The patient in recovery next to me also had a tubal and was crying in pain. I was fine. The nurse said that she had a different doctor and he does it differently. Evidently, the way Dr Imbody did my tubal was much better! In 2009, I had a uterine ablation, and now I am scheduled for hysterectomy because I continue to have problems. I have explored alternative treatments and they did not work. Dr Imbody is planning to leave ovaries in as ling as they look good. He says he will take the entire fallopian tubes as there is research that perhaps ovarian cancers originate there. I am comfortable with my decision and confident that he will do an excellent job once again.
