He respects your choice. My regular GYN physician recommended Dr. Patriarco, since my physician no longer performs surgery.
I was able to get an appointment within a week after my regular GYN appointment. There were many date/time options provided by the front desk staff.
Dr. Patriarco is an expert in minimally invasive surgery and oversees gynecological surgery fellows. Perioperative staff speak quite highly of him, which put my mind at ease after scheduling my laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy.
His surgical scheduler handles all preop inquiries and provides surgical instructions. My experience was that my surgery date was scheduled during my appointment and the scheduler met with me and ensured all my questions were answered.
I was able to schedule my post op appointment right away also.
I needed to change my surgery date, which was done the day after my appointment. Everything occurred smoothly with the date change.
On surgery day, Dr. Patriarco and the fellow both came to talk with me before the surgery. Dr. P had the same great bedside manner and was very kind. He took time to speak with my husband after the surgery, and stopped in to see us in the same day surgery unit before I was discharged.
My experience was nothing but positive.
