I was referred to Dr. Candice Lewis by my regular OB/GYN after being diagnosed with endometrial cancer. When my husband and I first met Dr. Candice Lewis she was very friendly, empathetic, respectful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain in detail my condition, what available procedures and options I had. She answered all questions in a way that my husband and I could understand and so I could make the right choice for me. My husband and I both felt confident in her abilities and experience. When Dr. Lewis did my robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy she followed up with my husband and reassured him right after my surgery.
Dr. Lewis specializes in Gynecologic Oncology with 20 years experience. I appreciated the way she has supported me, comforted me and kept me informed during all of my checkups over the past 5 and 1/2 years following my surgery.
I know doctors are busy and rushed. I always watch the time so I don't take long but I have still experienced them walking out the door while I'm still asking a question. With every visit I had with Dr. Lewis she was always calm and welcoming, never seemed rushed for time. I can't think of anything she could improve on, even her office staff is warm and friendly.
