Dr Fogarty is a breast surgeon. 9 years after my hysterectomy I felt a similar situation, this time involving the breast. It was my first "bad" mamagram. I went back for the diagnostic one and out of 2 spots one came back as concerning. The biopsy showed positive for cancer. I was given Dr Fogarty's name at GBMC. It is their policy to get you in the office asap to make a treatment plan. She spent 2 hours with me and my family writing notes and drawing pictures for us. She is very empathetic. 3 weeks later I had my surgery to remove the cancer by least invasive means, and one node has been biopsied. I am waiting for the additional results when I see her in a few days. Time is of the essence when we hear cancer, and she likes to get the ball rolling.
