I've had four ob/gyns since moving to Iowa 10 years ago. Dr. Johnson is the one I'm most comfortable with. His calm mannerisms and his demeanor added to provide comfort to me as the anesthesia took effect. Surgery is not a fun event in one's life. Having a doctor who seems to genuinely be interested in your well being (rather than "getting this done so I can get to the next patient") is a tremendous help. I was so touched by him looking directly into my eyes and telling me he'd be right there after I awoke, I wrote him a letter of thanks. I've been under general anesthesia four times and this was the only time a doctor was so overwhelmingly soothing and gentle. What a great doc.

My teenage daughter and I both see Dr. Johnson for different conditions. I find him to be very knowledgable and equally as important, very personable. He seems to genuinely care about the well being of his patients.
My teenage daughter is very comfortable with him.
He is very easy to talk to, and listens. He is also very good about answering all of our questions/concerns.
I required surgery twice and both times have been very pleased with the level of care I received.
