Dr. Durland delivered my first child. And now I am having another child and she is my doctor for this pregnancy as well. In the beginning with my first child I was told that I was not going to be able to have children. My husband and I tired for a couple of years and then I went to see Dr. Durland; I explained everything that had happened and she set up tests to be done. She listened to us very clearly and understood that we did not want anything to do with drugs to get pregnant; she never once made us feel uncomfortable about our decisions. She was supportive the whole time and we ended up getting pregnant on our own. When the time came to have my 1st child, there were many problems during labor and so she made the decision to do an emergency c-section. They put me to sleep and my husband says that she went right away at getting our little girl out and taking care of her and me. She had always included my husband in everything; as she has said we are a team. I have been completely impressed with Dr. Durland and would recommend her to anyone. She is very knowledgeable and a great doctor. Things that make her stand out are that she is cheerful, Kind, thoughtful, understanding, patient; I could go on and on about how great her personality is. If you are looking for a doctor, she is the perfect one.

After 2 years of problems with my menstrual cycle and trying numerous options from my regular physician, I was referred to Dr. Durland by a friend. On my first visit I explained my problems, what I'd tried to treat it and she listed to everything. She was empathetic to my situation, and frustrations. I explained that I was through having children, had been for almost 9 years and could not see any reason to continue to tolerate the pain and prolonged menstrual cycles I had been tolerating for 2 years. Dr Durland sent me for a sonogram and blood tests right away and within 5 days I was back in her office hearing my options. She explained all of the pros and cons to each, so I could make a good educated decision. After I had talked with my husband I called back and made the appointment for a hysterectomy and they scheduled it at a time that was most convenient for myself and my family. She was a great support from my pre-op appointment through my 6 week post-op visit. My friend who recommended her was completely right and I'd recommend Dr Durland to any woman out there who is looking for a great doctor!!
