I met Dr. Hicks 5 years ago when I discovered I had a ovarian tumor. He is the BEST! - He is smart, sensitve to your issues, helpful and is great with his patients. I was so afraid when I came in to see him- but he explained everything to me and gave me his true medical opinion. He is a joy and brings humor and laughter to your every office visit. I see him once a year as a precautionary measure- and even though I had the testing that I go through - I love to see him and his NP, Chris. He is one of the BEST doctors in the state of Michigan.

Dr. Hicks is a one of a kind Dr. especially for his field. He was my Gynocologic Oncologist. I've never met a Dr. before that had the bedside manners he did, he was very good at explaining some very complex problems in terms my hubby and I could understand. He was able to draw pictures and review details and options available. He encouraged questions with a positive friendly attitude that made both of us feel comfortable. He also performed a radical hysterectomy without issue! In my 5 days in the hospital he came back and checked on me frequently and made sure I was well taken care of! I definately don't want cancer again, but I'd love to see this kind of Dr. again!
