I had a hysterectomy and he is a great surgeon. He has a great bedside manner. He is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. He is experienced and diligent.

Dr. Penalver specializes in pelvic cancer. My entire experience was incredible. His office staff is kind, caring and professional as our the other doctors that cover for him when he is not on call. He took the time to speak with me about my options and even made a recommendation for a plastic surgeon when I asked for one. When I had a complication, he was immediately available to resolve the situation, including leaving me his cell phone and calling me in my hospital room to check on me DAILY from his family vacation in Disney. I have referred others to him and they have had similar experiences. In addition to his kind, caring attitude -- he is very knowledge about pelvic cancers and is an outstanding surgeon.
